ANTONI KONEFAL It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden death of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Antoni Konefal on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Antoni will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Irena Konefal; her sons Ryszard (Maria) Zybert, Janusz (Maria) Zybert, their children and grandchildren: Antoni's sons Boguslaw (Wioletta) Konefal and Waldemar (Ewelina) Konefal and their children; Antoni's daughter Maria Helena (Jan), their children and grandchildren; Antoni's siblings in Poland; as well as other family members and good friends. Born on February 10, 1932 in Poland, Antoni immigrated to Canada in 1983 and settled in Winnipeg. His son, Boguslaw, joined his father six years later. Antoni met the love of his life, Irena, and married her in 1993. They spent 17 wonderful years together sharing the love for each other, travelling, entertaining family and friends at their house and their cottage. Antoni retired from Bristol Aerospace in 1996 and since then, spent most of the summer time at the cottage, fishing, picking mushrooms or blueberries, or simply passing the time among family and friends. He will be remembered as a kind man who touched the lives of many. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Andrew Bobola Roman Catholic Church, 541 Marion Street, with Rev. Fr. Sebastian Gacki, presiding. Interment will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald Avenue. Wieczny odpoczynek racz mu dac Panie.
